Overview
Not all Rust cheat features are equal. Some are flashy but rarely useful. Others are absolute essentials that fundamentally change how you play. This guide breaks down every major feature category so you know exactly what you're getting — and what to prioritise.
Aimbot
The core offensive tool. A Rust aimbot redirects your crosshair toward the nearest (or selected) enemy automatically when you aim down sights or hold a dedicated key.
Sub-features to look for:
Aimbot Smoothing Instead of instant snapping (which looks robotic and triggers spectator reports), smoothing makes the crosshair glide naturally toward the target. A value of 5–10 is virtually indistinguishable from a skilled human player.
Silent Aim Fires bullets toward the target's hitbox regardless of where your crosshair is pointing on screen. Extremely hard to spectate-detect. Available in Rust | Ultimate.
Bone Priority Choose which hitbox to target — head for maximum damage, chest for reliability at range, or nearest bone for fastest acquisition.
Unique Weapon Configs Lets you apply different aimbot settings per weapon. An AK at 100m needs different smoothing than a shotgun at 5m.
Hitchance % Fires a shot only when the projected accuracy exceeds a threshold. Stops the aimbot wasting bullets on out-of-range targets.
ESP (Extra Sensory Perception)
ESP draws persistent overlays on your screen — essentially giving you wall-vision. This is usually the highest-value feature for survival gameplay.
Player ESP
- Box ESP — rectangle around each player model
- Skeleton ESP — draws bone structure, useful for reading player poses behind cover
- Name — shows Steam display name
- Distance — shows range in metres
- Health bar — live HP indicator
- Weapon info — shows what gun they're holding
World ESP
- Item ESP — highlights lootable items through walls and on the ground
- Ore ESP — shows stone, metal, sulfur nodes through terrain (massive farm efficiency gain)
- Animal ESP — horses, bears, wolves, boars
- Vehicle ESP — boats, minicopters, cars
- Trap ESP — landmines, shotgun traps, flame turrets — no more walking into base defences
Utility
- Raid Alert — notifies you when an explosion sound is detected near your base
- Night Mode — brightens the environment at night without changing gamma (which is detectable)
- Remove Fog — eliminates weather-based fog entirely
Miscellaneous
No Recoil / No Spread Eliminates bullet deviation. Every shot goes exactly where your crosshair is pointing. Combined with aimbot, this is lethal at any range.
Rapid Fire Increases fire rate above the weapon's cap. Use carefully — it can cause visual desyncs that other players notice.
Spider Man Allows climbing any vertical surface. Extremely useful for reaching raid positions or escaping combat.
Omni Sprint / Infinite Jump Movement speed and jump height overrides. Useful for traversal but highly visible to other players.
Admin Flag Makes your character invisible to NPC turrets. Lets you walk through auto-turret bases without being shot.
Long Neck Extends your view distance. Lets you spot and target enemies far beyond the standard render distance.
